Did I understand correctly that the house that an Apostolic family lived in is the one that made you feel uncomfortable? Shouldn't it be the other way around? The other family would have had no "protection" from any "supernatural" forces.

I'm thinking she's saying the Apostolic family may have had some "issues."

Anyway, to make a long story short, in this new house there is a total different "feel". Theres a sense of peace and contentment that was strangely missing at the other house. There seemed to be alot of tension at the other house that is not present in this new house.

I know there have been many "family" problems of various types that existed for the owners and one time occupants of our previous house. I know very little about those that occupied our new home. I just know theres something vastly different about the two homes.

I'm not one to look for devils under every bush but it seems to me that we have escaped from a stronghold and I'm glad! I know some people believe in having homes prayed for and even anointed with oil when they move in. Perhaps this isn't a bad idea!

Any thoughts or opinions on this matter out there? I'd like to hear some.
I don't believe there any evil lurking, but I do believe we can feel out place, even in a house. It's like buying a car, you just know it when you find the right one, it feels right.

I have heard the CD of him preaching Potholes in the Road. I actually have it. It is awesome. I love to listen to the Bishop preach. I have so much of his material - books, CDs, audios, etc. I love to be stretched by his preaching.

I grew up in a huge Victorian house. Twelve rooms and thirteen foot ceilings. We alway hated that house. It had been sawed into three pieces and moved from San Antonio to our property. I would have been interested to know who had always lived in it. A 1900 home.

A couple of nights in a row I felt a huge snake crawl across my legs. I jumped up and turned on the light. It was so spooky.

We had a lot of spooky things happen when we lived in that house.

You understood correctly. I know that sounds backwards but considering what I know about this apostolic family and all they've been through, its really not surprising as the enemy has raised more than his share of havoc on this family in all sorts of ways.

This may be a little off topic but I've been in homes that had such an aura of peace and hospitality. Seemed to be no stress or bad vibes at all. Of course I believe it has to do with the people who lived there.

The gift of hospitality was definitely on this couple and even though they often set a very simple table (they had us in often after church for lunch and fellowship) that might just consist of some homemade bread, sliced tomatoes, cucumber, maybe a little salad, leftover chicken or whatever ..... my point is that it was often just very simple .... everything always tasted so delicious!

I remarked about it often to my husband.

Would that house feel the same way once that couple had departed? I doubt it.

I know of a lady preacher in LA ( lady talker for those of you who dont believe in ladies preaching) who talked about this thing in books. I also heard her say be very careful if someone gives you a gift because it may have a trailing spirit. She talked about spirits of people trailing you after you leave there presense also
