And in an instant I could suddenly hear the sound of everyone that was around me, a sound of excitement as they rejoiced, "he got it, he got it." At this same moment I heard myself speaking forth strange sounds that expressed my heart in a "language" that was not native to me.

Immediately after I was baptized in Jesus' name.

Straying from topic again... After I accepted the Lord (repented) on December 16, 1996 I could not sit through most TV programming. Watching and hearing people act out sin did not appeal to me at all. That conviction WAS strong. The same with music. I couldn't listen to sin glorified in the form of a song.

I didn't begin listening to Christian music until after I was baptized in Jesus' name and received the baptism of the Holy Ghost (20 years ago today). I don't know what the deal was with that stuff. Whatever KDUV and KLUV were playing made me feel what I could only describe as negative emotions, almost to the point of depression. I could feel it very strongly through much of their music. The only thing I could listen to peacefully was gospel and choir music.
