Well, i am impressed that you met some dispossessed Persians. I wouldn't want to give the impression that they are all perfect or anything, either; but their stance might be understandable, given the relentless meddling==which Esaias has pointed out occurs pretty much everywhere--on a new thread, the KGB defector vid--America being the Great Experiment in meddling.

Hopefully the point is made here--and btw, gyros are horrible, really bad for you, worse even than our hotdogs. And i'm sure the Olympics seem harmless--a little (more) "healthy competition" can't hurt, right?--to someone in the world; but isn't a Christian supposed to understand the 'setup' there? How competition precludes cooperation?

Yeah you sure don't want to talk about "Operation Ajax" do you general. You are sort of de-nutticated on that one with your talk of "dictators" when we assassinated their elected president and put "King of Kings" in place as a dictator to trade for oil concessions.

Focus on 331 BC? Guess what? The spring solstice holiday you are whining about even predates Alexander the Great. "Iranian New Year" my foot.

Here's the deal and listen well. People in countries that we have not attacked, or paid someone to attack, or equipped someone to attack, or supported dictators in, have no reason to hate us. The list of those is shrinking but the Iranian resentment of American dates back to "Operation Ajax" and oil concessions to our allies in Britain and to nothing else. You want to talk about dictators then you need to list the ones we put in place and supported.
