Michelle Obama on Sarah Palin
Asked about Sarah Palin:
""I think it's wonderful to have strong female voices out there, but I don't know her," Mrs. Obama said.
What about Palin's criticism of her husband, King asked.
"Democracy is about critique and the president is not immune to criticism," Mrs. Obama said. "I think he's doing a phenomenal job.'"

Kudos to the First Lady for a classy response.

Re: Michelle Obama on Sarah Palin
Good save, Michelle, since your husband's poll ratings are so low he could walk under a rock and be comfortable! You play nice and it might help - NOT!

I wish she had ran instead of her husband

I agree. I wasn't expecting an answer like that. I don't agree with her assessment of her husband, but I like that she was kind in her answer about a lady who's been less than kind to them.
Palin could learn something from her.

Palin has a high negative approval rating ... even among Republicans. Most don't see Palin as qualified to be President.
Michelle could have easily either sidestepped the question and offered a no comment, or she could have defended her husband and been totally justified in calling Palin out.
I guarantee had Michelle defended BHO against some of the things Palin has said about him and the admin ... it would've been viewed favorably, but only Michelle could do it. BHO or any other spokesman - keyword man - couldn't do it and get away with it.

I don't want her to run for President either. I'm fine with whatever else she wants to get involved in.

She did sidestep it and gave no answer. If you think she was begin gracious - I have some swamp land..... it's real cheap!
She does not have one inch of room to bring anything else negative to her husband's Administration, at this time (fall of 2010 is looming), but I will give you this - she's smart enough to know it. So, on that note - Yes, Michelle did really well in that interview.
