This young man was as white as he was black. The tragedy is a young man was killed, and we will find out why pending the investigations.

If point out the facts that seems to be not emphasized as it doesn't incite, perhaps.
We don't need any more selectively inciteful hall truths.
If he is half white and it is only being reported as black, that is intentionally skewerring the facts to inflame emotions.
It is unfortunate that he died.

As far a Obama. Of course he's white, or at last he's as much white as he's black. He's equally as much white as he is black.

I don't believe in divison. I am married to another distinct race for my wife. My children are of mixed heritage, so I know of what I speak.

That young man was as much white as he was black. Neither is better or worse than the other as neither should be excluded as each are unique.

Guess what my children are?

Again, show a dozen people his photo and a dozen people will say he's black. I know you're trying to point out the mom is white, ie: he's white, ie: there shouldn't be any talk of this as a racial incident. But he's not white. And before you try to claim there shouldn't be a racial component to this, let's see what the investigation finds.

What I find so interesting is despite the fact the young man is in fact half black and half white, you (and others) say he is black and not white.
It is like arguing if a cup is half full or half empty. It is both.

Anyway, regardless what I may say, minds are made up and really cannot see the politics and cultural pressures at divisiveness (on all sides) to keep Americans at odds to distract us and keep us from attaining any type of unity.

Yes, I do financially support a black college student at UW Madison.

Race is a big issue for any president. What has Walker done to bring racial equality and justice ?

Racism is a problem all of us must face together. It is complex and is not easily solved.

Walker does focus on education. Why has he not focused on the dropout rate for kids who live 5 minutes from his house ?

My criticism of Walker is not over a single issue. I do not blame him for every problem our state has. Nor do I criticize him over unimportant issues.

My observations are based on personal interaction with government officials in Madison.

I hate to say it, but its not about being black, but about being a black American. I don't know why, but people from all over the world find black American culture to be quite distasteful. Even Africans scowl at them. I've been around and have seen it. It's disgusting because its not their fault, and it's not fair. The history of slavery and oppression STILL reaches to this generation today. And you don't know what you just don't know.
I think the best bet for folks stuck in this mindset and culture is to find someone who is black and successful and try to imitate them as much as possible. Read their books, and take as much as their advice as possible. Don't let political differences stand in the way of learning from someone wiser then you.
