Another Young Black Man Killed By Police

This seems to be a growing pattern. A suspect attacks a police officer, and then when injured or killed is made into a victim. I am not saying that this man should have been killed, but his actions are just as much at fault as the officers. If you are an "innocent" victim you would not be assaulting a police officer. You would answer their questions peacefully. If I were an officer and an assailant was attacking me, I would fear they were going for my gun, and we don't know if that is exactly what this man was doing. His past record shows him to be dangerous and violent.

This police officer killed this teenager inside the teenagers own home. I wonder what was the "disturbance" the officer said he heard? I am betting this guys protection against search and seizure was violated. We probably won't know because the victim is dead.

Eventually we are going to see a officer that has used lethal force get caught, rightly or not, without enough on his side to prove. When that happens then look out nelly!!!

He is going to catch all the pent up frustration from all the previous ones!

hmm, i just don't see police prosecutions working like that, unfortunately (or not). They can/will manufacture evidence.

He heard "a disturbance" in that apartment.

The black community is minutes away from Walkers house. One could day that he lives in their neighborhood. The high school dropout rate for black students is 50%. Gangs are on the rise.

Yet I have never heard Gov. Walker ever address these issues. The mayor of Madison is quite involved in these issues.

I am not smart enough to know how to tackle these tough social issues. The headlines are a symptom of a growing problem in our society.

And what can a governor do, particularly a GOP white governor? No matter what he might do or say it will be labeled racist criticism of the black community. Your statement reminds me of a remark Governor Bill Richardson of New Mexico said once while giving a Democrat response to a GW Bush He chided Bush for "not doing enough to start a Federal program to prevent Hispanic teens from dropping out of High School". Oh now that certainly is a role for the Federal government to waste tax payer money on! I read that right there in the Constitution! My question for Richardson was, what did he do as governor if he thought it was a role of government?

Hopefully there is no rush to judgment in this case as there was in the Ferguson case.
