You may as well stop the garbage right now. You guys held the congress for almost 50 years and did nothing to sure up soc sec. Instead, you stole from it to fund other liberal pork projects. Now you rob billions from medicare to fund obamacare. Next, you'll be raiding private 401k's.

Won't work with me. I'm a Ron Paul supporter. I'm against the Bush/Obam wars. Nevertheless, Revenue went UP under the tax cuts of Kennedy, Reagan, and GW. The housing market crash wiped out the latter. But don't you think it's time to scrap the income tax and the IRS? Do America's working family deserve to have such an all powerful Federal department breathing down their necks? I'm sure a good liberal like yourself would agree with that.

Good thing he is "working" to reduce deficits:

Obama surpassed G. W. Bush's deficit addition of eight accumulative years of deficits in less than two years...

The greatest threat to this nation is not a foreign power but a govt. drunk on spending.

What does a trillion dollars look like?
http://www.pagetutor.com/trillion/index.html

I ask all to consider this fact:
If you spent a million dollars a day, a million dollars a day, since Jesus walked teh earth you still would not have spent a trillion dollars.

The deficits are not due to a lack of revenue. The govt. has taken in over two trillion dollars a year since 2005 and still runs trillion dollar deficits. It is not a revenue problem. It is a spending problem.

It is immoral to steal from the next generation and the price will be paid. Ask Greece...

Edited to add the debt clock link:

Its going up 2%. Thats it. So for someone to be losing 93-94 dollars a paycheck cause of the expiration of the payroll tax rate, has to be making somewhere in the neighborhood of 115k giver or take a few thousand. Someone making that much is crying about 2200 dollars? I am only out 37.50 a paycheck. But hey we cry when SSI/Medicare is not funded and then we cry when we have to pay it.

Delusional. You've fallen for all of the Democrat drum beating that tax cuts got us in this mess. Obama makes ALL previous presidents look like amateurs when it comes to spending. It's like comparing Derek Jeter to my eight year old Little Leaguer.
