Too much. I suppose someone advised him to do that, but it was a bad move. He needs to call attention to their differences; not their similarities.
On the other hand, it was probably preemptive, because otherwise Obama would have pointed it out.
One of Obama's weakest moments, IMO, was his response to the apology tour. He responded by talking about the kind of "trips" he took as a candidate? LOL!!! Had nothing at all to do with the point. Lame.

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
Every sinner must repent of their sins.
That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.
Poor Romney. He's getting his behind handed to him on a hot plate. Give him a cool drink..
I thought Obama's line about horses and bayonets was a win for him.
I thought Romney's line about Obama's trip to Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Iraq while not stopping in Israel our most loyal ally in the Mideast was a win for him.
Also Romney's response on two occasions when he said, "a personal attack against me is not a foreign policy agenda".
Ultimately everyone has their mind made up by now, surely. I doubt the third debate really makes a difference. Studies show that first debates are the most viewed and the most influential in an election. After that, each successive debate has fewer viewers and shows very little influence in the polls.

Well you've heard from two of the liberals. So now let me respond. Romney won it by being a statesman and presidential and speaking knowledgable about everything that was brought up. Obama tried more than once to smear Romney and Romney wouldn't take the bait. Romney started out slow but in the meat of the debate Obama was hollering "where's the beef?"
Romney asked Obama about the 38 democrats who asked Obama to mend the fence with Israel. After several swallows Obama completely ignored the question and went off raving about something else.
Much more can be said, so I'll let someone else say it.
Been Thinkin
YES! I forgot about that point! O was squirming on that one!
I think the points scored by Romney were on substance, whereas Obama scored points on slick one liners that probably made his base high five each other, but in the end didn't really answer important questions.
I thought Romney could've pressed more on the Obama comment to Medvedev about having more "flexibility after the election". He mentioned it but didn't say anymore about it.

Romney agreed with the Obama at least 75% of the time tonight.
On foreign policy. But on the 25% they disagreed, the differences were important. First, the projection of weakness that O has manifested since day one in office. Traveling to the Mideast and talking about American arrogance and America being divisive and derisive. Then when the Iranian Green Revolution was taking place, O didn't say a word to encourage those folks that we would be there for them. He backed down to the Russians when it came to a missile defense in Poland all the while the Ruskies were moving missiles along their border to the south. He is infamous for saying we would "lead from behind" in the Mideast.
But the main point and starkest difference is on the economy which has threatened our national security because we have become vulnerable economically. And if we don't get our house in order here, our relationship with the world will be of little consequence because we will not have the ability to influence and lead the world. China will take over that role.
I thought a great point R made last night was that China doesn't want a trade war with us because they rely on us to consume their products and goods. They do what they do because we let them get away with it.

Romney went into the first debate as the challenger, behind in the polls. He entered this debate as the frontrunner, leading in most polls and with the momentum. His strategy was most likely just to avoid any gaffes and moments that would overshadow the debate and make him look bad. In that he was successful. But I think he drew stark contrasts on the points that needed to be made: peace through strength, relations with Israel and the economy.

Most are calling it a tie. So basically they are tied up all the way around
Why do I get a feeling that Obama could win this after all?
Wont happen. Romney in a landslide. He'll win 300-320 Electoral College votes. He'll win 34-35 states including Ohio, Iowa, Wisconsin, Colorado, Virginia, Florida and North Carolina. The MSM will be stunned and will turn on Obama like jackals. They will crucify him and his campaign for the first debate performance when the polls showed an uptick in support for Romney. They'll also play the racist card over and over that America is still fundamentally racist and that they couldn't handle another four years with a black president. They won't concede that liberal policies social and fiscal were his undoing, because that would be an admission that their vision of a socialist America was rejected by a majority of Americans.
