Huckabee Presidential Forum tonight

While Huckabee said all the candidates did “an outstanding job,” Cuccinelli — himself a tea party hero who recently signaled he would run for governor of Virginia in 2013 — didn’t feel the same way. In a post-forum interview on Fox News, he blasted Gingrich’s moderate stances and also said he wasn’t persuaded by Romney.

“My benchmark was: I want to leave with comfort that each of these six candidates is going to be a limited-government, conservative president,” he said. “And despite pressing Newt Gingrich several times, I didn’t get that. I did not get that. We could have another compassionate conservative on our hands.”

Of Romney’s stances on health care, he said: “I don’t see a lot of difference there between him and the president.”

Re: Huckabee Presidential Forum tonight

"I think Rick Perry had his best debate tonight. I would have to say this was his finest hour. He had some tough questions, and he answered them well. He knows the Constitution, and sticks to it. I would have to say he stuck out as the most Conservative candidate in the debate tonight.

Mike Huckabee, Former Governor of Arkansas

Too little, too late.

They aren't doing a good job of promoting the debates, I've missed the last 2 because the first I hear of them is after they are over.

It is commonly known that the people who are most interested in the election cycle are up to date on when the debates are going to be held. Would you like a schedule?

And you really don't need to watch the debates. It would be much more advantageous and productive to know a candidate's record. How he speaks in a debate - whether good or bad - doesn't give you the whole picture.

The serious part of all of this is that the Ron Paul supporters could very well throw the election to Obama.

Re: Huckabee Presidential Forum tonight

Cuccinelli is right - Newt could close the deal if he could convince conservatives that he is limited government. He hasn't sold me yet.
