You can call it a snide swipe, but the fact is you responded to something personally that wasn't directed to you. Then ironically you accused me of taking everything personal?

I didn't say the snide swipe was you dismissing my post.
I didn't respond to something "personally" that was not directed to me...the below quote by you was directed at me, not to someone else.

Right? We can take that route, but then again like the other thread it's no longer really "just a discussion". I just thought we'd REALLY have a discussion this time. Discuss proverbs 11

Here we are told of the advantages of being generous and kind. Someone who practices these qualities will no doubt make a few friends over the course of their life. Perhaps this is the intended meaning in "winning a soul" in verse 30.
"He who is generous and kind will 'win friends' (souls) and this is to be considered "wise" behavior.
It's not that the reader here is being told to indoctrinate others; the reader is being told to show kindness.

Get off your "I'm attacking you" deal... sheesh.
Yes, what I said above was directly to you. It was also after you replied "I did" to a post NOT directed to you, but somehow you wanted to take it personal. Thus, you got a smart alec "prax disclaimer" remark. If that got you hot under the britches... I've already apologized.

You dismissed my entire post on Proverbs 11 as my pre-conceived idea, without actually addressing what I said as to whether there is merit to it...
And here again you try to make this about me personally. Can we, for once, just discuss a verse without making it personal or about certain groups of people? You don't become right about what you think this verse is about by dismissing things as my preconceived theory or by making snide comments aimed at me.

Prax is Norwegian (or Latvian, or something like that). You know how those people are.
And what's the deal with "Prax's pink panties?" ?????

Social, we have a new thread. A new start. A chance to do just have a discussion about ideas, not people or groups. Shall we?

Please, let's do it!
Who the heck is having a discussiong about people or groups??????????????????????
Why do you keep implying those accusations? This isn't the first time...
You want it to be about ideas but you've fired away.... if you're ready to quit the drama, then I will gladly oblige.

It's a reference to the other thread where Prax told me to do something with my panties.
