Re: using a computer in the pulpit

I was going to post that my pastor uses a lap top all the time. Then we went to church yesterday and he had just his Bible and what looked like some notes...go figure...he must be reading this...

When I did not use my laptop for a time, it was because my cord and its adapter died. lol

Well, if PC's (and Macs!!!!) didn't break down, I'd be out of a job, or at least have my hours severely cut.

All the time. Our school has a few hundred of them. I knowest what I talkest about.

And now our latest Macbooks no longer have the firewire port, which was the easiest way to reimage them. ARGH!
(Although a program called Carbon Copy Cloner and a couple of USB hard drives, came to the rescue.)

But you guys that use laptops for notes.....what if it freezes or crashes? That would be seriously funny. "God bless you all, you're dismissed."

"Already?"
I was curious about anyone's answer to this too. I carry a fully redundant laptop that is powered up and ready to go when I DJ just in case the primary laptop crashes or dies on me. The show must go on you know.
