We got 12" yesterday. That makes it the third highest amount of snow to ever fall in a 24 hour period in February in this area. Whew! Figure that mess out

The snow has stopped for now, but they're saying we should get another inch or two before this is over. But the real concern is that beginning in just a few hours, we should be expecting VERY high winds, making blizzard conditions out of the snow that's on the ground already. Oh joy.

We have a friend that has been trying to get us to move to Alaska for years. NO! I don't think so! LOL! Give me heat. I want heat! I can't stand being cold! LOL!

I'm with you, Pressing-On. If I could convince my whole family to move, we would all be somewhere much warmer than this - preferably on a nice island where the weather is beautiful year-round and the beaches are beautiful. Sadly, they're not all willing to make a move. And I place far to much importance on FAMILY for me to be able to go anywhere long-term without them. Rats! Those stubborn people!

Yes, we've been talking about it at work.

I have to know ahead what to expect because they want at least two of my employees to be here. Monday night we had to put them up next door at the Courtyard Marriott so they could be at work the next day.

Yep, that looks like us right now. Except we don't have any mountains. Which really makes it worse when the winds begin to blow because there is nothing to stop the blowing snow. It just a "field day" - literally in some cases!
