Snow. Blech.
NO SNOW ZONE
Sorry, folks. I lived in snow areas all of my life. I have seen all I want to.
My idea of Christmas is like the one I spent in Florida a few years back. 75 degrees at midnight. Oh, yeah. I can dig it.

You can send yours this way! We haven't had snow here in about 25 years, and I'm dreaming of a white Christmas .
My family that's coming to visit from New England would agree with you though. My prayers for snow are being cancelled out by their prayers for 70-80 degree weather while they visit.

I will add some pictures later. I just snow blew my driveway again.
In the past 3 days I have about 11 inches of snow.

When I moved to Tennessee last Feb.-March, I noticed we had one day of snow. A simple flurry at that. I am hoping for the same for this winter season. None yet, though the lows at night have been in the 20's a couple of times.
Eckstadt...nothing personal as I was raised just south of you a few miles in the Windy City. However, please KEEP your snow.

Yeah, but remember, people can't drive down here in any of it. A simply dusting shuts everything down and the grocery stores sell out of milk and bread. At least up north life goes on.

Actually, even in the north if a big snowfall is predicted the grocery stores sell out of all the staples. But yes, life goes on, and on, and on. This isn't the worst winter weather territory but I have lived further north and the winter never ends..............................

We're in the northeast corner of the state (right on the Virginia border) and we get NOTHING.
No joke...this morning I was watching the weather report and the guy has the map showing snow all around us. It was horse-shoe shaped and we were right in the middle.
I was told when I moved here that we are sort of in a bowl because of the mountains all around us, and we have Eastman Chemical Company right here which heats up the atmosphere. Don't know if it's true or not, but it makes sense.
