I watched one Easter play where Jesus was "ascending" with the help of a winch (sp.) and something messed up and he was just hanging there turning in little circles. It was awesome!

Mainly because I knew the guy playing the part, and that just made it funny to me.

Got to admit that, reading some of the mess-ups makes my mind go back to 2006. I'll make it short and sweet.

While I was still in the UPC at my old assembly. We performed Emmanual every year since 1997.

This year it was Emmanual 2006.

I'll admit that it was a rocking Drama! The music, acting, singing, etc... I was blessed to play the part of Jesus every year.

Friday Night!!! Packed House!!! Everything was going great. We were at the part of myself(Jesus) being taken off the cross.

John (Played by a rather heavy fellow)is on a ladder up above me taken my hands off of the nails, ropes, etc.. You get the picture.

Now get this picture. I am very tired, sweating, hot, 235 #lbs, and 36 years old, at the time.

I am hanging in the It IS Finished Postion, eyes closed.( Dead! Remember!) 12 Disciples 10 feet beneath moaning and groaning, all caught up in the ACT!

BAMM!!!!

That is all I remember. I am not Joking! The 60lb ladder, 230 lb cross, all came down. With Jesus on it!!!!

Go ahead and laugh. It is funny now. But, not then.

We recorded on the first performance, and last performance. But not this night. But don't worry. The director had her on personal camera.

Yep. Thats right. It is all on video.

I'll try and post the clip later. I believe everyone will enjoy it.
