As it happens, it's only happening on one side. But I have had it on both sides of my head, usually around my temple areas or behind my ears.

Just once on the left side of my head, above my ears and away from my temples.
Read about the condition and see if it fits what you are experiencing.

LR has this and it acts up intermittently also.
