Serving God, and assembling together when you can (within reason) should be important to us.
Being late and or on a consistent basis means that Church/God isn't that important.
JMHO Though.

I actually mentioned this while teaching Wednesday night.

But church is not God. Why call it putting an Idol before church.
If I were to hear such an opinion from a Pastor today?........ sounds cult like

Many have put the Church, Pastor And Org. before God.
Church is not God.
I refuse to be a mindless church zealot.

You are correct to a point.
It is a place where we saints gather together and worship God, be taught of him, and serve others.
Everything may be going great in your life, but perhaps a Brother or Sister would benefit from your attendance?

Again I agree!
As someone said it is selfish to be always late; according to Dr. Phil.

I mean as long as we show up whats the problem. We're giving. we're involved.
At work I jump in (when I get there) and do my job.
15 min. maybe a 1/2 hr shouldn't be that big of a deal right?
|
We start late ALL the time, except maybe Sunday Morning..
Being on time to me is about discipline. We need to be a disciplined church if we are to be an army for God
