Maybe this will become an ex-Pentecostal site where disgruntles can cast stones at the womb that gave them birth. Healthy and heated discussions are one thing but this continual and more and more aggressive posts which are laden with anti-Pentecostalism is general is becoming more than I can bear. It is becoming harder to leave these asaults at the computer I do not want to carry them with me. I pray for each of you that seem to have been hurt beyond repair that somewhere the God of Heaven will heal your hurts and wounds that you might again be restored to the Apostolic fatih. This could very well be my last post on this forum. So farewell in case I don't return.

The dynamic you are experiencing is similar to the frustration I was feeling last night. There are times when only a handful of people are on the forum and those handfuls are of the same ilk, so they create post after post after post and thread simply piling on agreeing with one another. Conservatives and liberals do the same thing.
I was told something just yesterday by a Pastor that YOU know, and it shocked me. The confusion on my face caused him to say it a second time, and frankly I am still trying to reconcile it.
He said, "The word of God is not God." I understand having a knowledge of scripture and lack the power behind it, but he was almost relating that the spirit is stronger than the word. It was pretty scary in fact, because I was lamenting that kids nowadays have no knowledge of scripture. He was saying it is more important that these kids have a more spiritual conscience than a conscience toward the word.
People say all kinds of dumb stuff...let them, but don't deprive those of us who drink in and absorb what you have to say, and choose to argue once in a while on the basis of scripture.
