Growing up my mother would have the dinning room decorated when we got home from school. She would have little gifts at everyone’s place and little candy Bags and her famous Cherry Cheese Tarts…Up until she passed away, she made the Cherry Cheese Tarts. All her grandkids have this memory of her too.

my husband works nights, so we went out Monday. we stopped by the store this morning (without my knowing) and bought steaks, potatoes, corn...all that good stuff. he woke up early to grill. So, i didnt have to cook AGAIN! he and my son gave me roses and a gift card to my nail place. it was a good day :-)
