No telling how many good apostolic folks are going to split hell wide open becase of this not so clever compromise straight from the pits of hell! HOW COULD YOU BE SO BLIND! The devil has used you and your family to corrupt the minds of apostolic everywhere into thinking that they can chose what they see on those one eyed demons based on CONTENT instead of a blanket ban on everything.
Next thing you know, people will be melting their children's brains with Oddesy videos. Husbands will be enslaved by the near pornographic images of women in evening dresses on Deal or no Deal. Women will have their souls sucked out of their eye sockets as they watch Rachel Ray fix pasta on HELLIVISION.

Randy, I don't want to come off as mean spirited or anything, but you're retarded. You are trying to subtly equate a modern day NECESSITY like the internet with a television. Don't try using logic to trick me into thinking something that offers men (*edited by admin*) in a matter of seconds (check connection speed. Results may vary) is as evil as television which has breasts on limited channels at extraordinarily inconvenient times.
This is exactly the problem. You are trying to rationalize here. I think it is pretty much a scientific fact that television has destroyed more lives than online porn, chat rooms, and gambling sites.
Give me one example of something good (like this, The AFF forum, a beacon of doctrinal soundness and unity!) on TV (beside this whole wife swap thing, which was of the devil.) at any point. Just one. Again, not the subject of this topic though.
I know I m being a little flippant here, but I am trying to expose the fallacy of defending TV by comparing it to the Internet. Does the TV have handy bits of information like news and weather? Does the TV have anything relating to God or the things of God? Does it have some sort of comparison to the historychannel.com web site where there is TONS of amazing religious programs to check out? No, it absolutely doesn't...whats that...it does...erm

Yes you can find the weather on TV and yes you can find the News on TV and Yes you can find on the TV "anything relating to God and the things of God" and if we Apostolics would utilize it there would be even more.
