The second was well publicized and any minister holding license that was at that General conference could not have missed the signs on the motor home at the salt palace. Is this behavior prevalent in the upci ? I say no it is not.

My criticism of the upc is this. They have preachers licensed with them that believe one is saved at repentance. Men that teach the light doctrine and friends of the bride doctrine. If these were cleaned out it would not be a bad org. to belong to.

Not sure what the bride doctrine is but from what I know of the light doctrine makes sense to me unless you think you have arrived and know all there is to know about God and His Word???

For me I am still walking in the Light and learning.

Sister I am positive I have much to learn even though I am and old dog.
The light doctrine is a doctrine that says one is saved if they do all that they know to do. If they repent then die they are all right because thats all they knew. In other words they do not have to obey acts 2:38 if they dont know about it.

Well for me I leave that kind of stuff in God's hands. I do what I know to be right and pray that He leads me into ALL TRUTHS!

Joh 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Joh 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Jesus taught WHAT a man must do to be able to enter into the kingdom of God, but he didn't say HOW to do it; the door to understanding HOW was still locked up.

But Jesus gave Peter the keys to the kingdom to be able to unlock the door of HOW to be able to do the WHAT to be able to enter into the kingdom of God.

And of course, in Acts 2:38, Peter unlocked the door of HOW to be born of the water and of the Spirit.

Act 2:37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
Act 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Act 2:39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
Act 2:40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

Rom 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

Joh 3:8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

Every single one - no exceptions - that is born of the Spirit is like the wind, u dont know where its coming from and where it is going, but u hear the sound thereof. A sound will accompany every single one that is born of the Spirit - in Acts that sound was tongues!

Regardless if one does not know that they need to be filled with the Holy Ghost and that the INITIAL evidence is speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance; if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, they are none of his.

Rom 3:4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.

God's word is truth - let God be true and every man a liar.

Rom 2:12 For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;

Preach it brother I have heard some awesome teaching, preaching this week, and this is more of it. I just love the word.
