Re: Hurricane Gustav

The Houston station this morning said Houston and Beaumont seems to have missed the storm.

Hope he is right.

Came in to the west of N.O. They'll be having issues but not like Katrina.

Re: Hurricane Gustav

Just watching the news out of New Orleans. They are having problems with over flow of some of the flood walls, but not like they feared. The West Bank which was a real area of concern, does not seem to be having the problems that they anticipated. Of course this is not over with- if you recall- with Katrina- we did not have problems until several hours after the storm passed by. They are having some real issues with tornadoes in Ms, AL and around BR. Keep praying saints!!!!!!!

Re: Hurricane Gustav

I understand this thing it land about 9:30 this morning in a little fishing town west of N.O. I understand the damage was not as bad as it could have been.

Re: Hurricane Gustav

I noticed MSNBC was saying the Industrial Canal "could blow at any minute" and Fox and the weather channel were saying all was fine - - - it is funny how the spin can be put on news.
