Here is something I have not seen discussed that would, IMO, be a valid point to think about:: The UPC will still be far larger than a new organization, with a whole lot more ministers. With that in mind;

If a person leaves the UPC, it will free up their area for a new UPC work to come in... Though that may not affect a larger church too much, and yet it might, it seems as if it would affect some smaller works especially in a town where they are the only Apostolic Church..

Is that a concern, or should it be?
Are there really that many men sitting aroung to start all of these UPC churches?

Many area of the country do not have a church.

I made mention a while back that the Apostolic movement is ripe for a move toward independence and I am all for it. Let those who are ultra conservative, more conservative, moderate, and liberal strike up a movement and see who takes root? Don't you know that people are like water and they will seek their own level?

Let everyone along the spectrum have at it and may the best man win?

...but then again if the Ultras die out, they will say it is because people hate truth and righteousness, and if the liberals die out, they will say it is because...well, I am not sure what the libs will say.

...that the Anglican Church was too irresistable for it's membership?
