No you didn't this happened to you last week! Lol Or thr week before that, on the thread where you were trying to endorse drinking of wine, as a blessing from God where you took the quote from that Adventist website.

So, in light of my heart above, in light of knowing that Hagin's doctrine is not Apostolic, in light that I know he embraces "holy laughter" and other spiritual manifestations such as "barking like a dog", and in light of what level of spiritual discernment I have, I'd say that it is relatively safe to answer that this is not the Holy Spirit.
Others can answer as they wish. However, given the nature of the sin of "blasphemy of the Holy Spirit", I seek caution in judging spiritual manifestations that are said to be the Holy Spirit. I feel it better to say, "I don't know", or, "I have my doubts", than to become too comfortable in discounting what might prove to be a unique move of God.
Here's a video of the kundalini spirit in a Hindu worship service... one cannot help but see the similarity between this and some Apostolic Pentecostal worship services. Does this mean that such worship services are not of God? Or does it mean that Satan is a counterfeiter of true experiences in the Holy Spirit?
|
I do agree with being cautious, but Hagin is a straight phony. I just wanted to ask. There maybe some similarities but it's totally different also. There's no travail that goes with the fake thing. It's another extreme. No groanings which can't be uttered, something different altogether.

Re: Kundalini, snake, divination 🐍
I never thought of it as a big deal since I'm not trying to sell anything or make a profit. Sometimes people just word things better than me, and sometimes the way something is worded, you can't say it better any other way and it breaks the flow of the conversation.
Oh well, I don't think anyone here has intentions to be deceptive or unethical. They're just trying to save time, reference what they believe to be true, and keep the conversation flowing.
But like I said, I'm thankful for the brethren that keep us on our toes.

I don't buy the "I don't have time to post a source" excuse, considering how little time it takes to copy the link and paste it into the post. Also, the one's I've seen lately don't even have quotation marks. They have been mixed in with original thoughts which makes it appear even more like the person posting is intentionally doing so to pass the lifted material off as their own.

If it's your original post, it's your post. If it's not yours, source it. At least add quotation marks.

I feel you.
When I'm posting from my phone, that's when it's the hardest to share a link. My phone isn't very user friendly in that respect.
But for the most part, I just get lazy sometimes. lol

Regardless of the rule on AFF for citing sources, it's dishonest and unethical for a person to lift something from another source, change a couple words, and then insert it in between their thoughts making it appear that it is all their thoughts. You shouldn't need a rule to know this is dishonest and wrong. You didn't even use basic quotation marks.
Is it too much to ask for people to not be dishonest when lifting from websites and trying to pass the info off as their own?
|
I can assure you that being dishonest was not my intent. You have went from a purist to a provocateur very quickly. After your chiding and verbal lambasting, I can assure you that I will not make that mistake again. Moving past your lack of quotations for sources of this post, what are your thought on the context that I was trying to convey?

I view people that take people to task for things like this while ignoring the substance of what is said in the same light as getting the stink eye from a Vegan while I'm tearing into a massive juicy medium rare ribeye...I just ignore them and chew slower with my eyes closed.
