There are so many levels to what you just said, in context, I'm liable to miss my OWN point if I quip. lol

Re: Where does bible say: "the lion shall lie down

How about Jesus sweating blood in the garden? Had a preacher stand behind the pulpit and describe some medical condition. He said that is what was happening in the garden. When he was finished and later that evening we had a discussion. I told him that isn't what the Bible is saying. Jesus wasn't having blood ooze from the pores in his skin. The sweat from His body in prayer was AS great drops of blood. It is the way sweat splats on the ground just like blood. If you have never seen either, I guess you can get get up in other directions. Getting behind a pulpit and explaining all that mess about blood oozing out the pores is a waste of good pulpit time.

I had a pastor say that the Holy Spirit did not descend onto Jesus in the form of a dove.

I heard of a preacher who taught that the tower of babel was an ancient rocket ship.

What about dying daily to flesh and sin?

When 1 Cor 15 mentions Paul dying daily, it was not talking about sin or the flesh... because Ro 6:10 says Christ died once to sin and we are dead indeed unto sin as well through his single death.

Paul was talking about facing perils of death. That what he was doing was a dangerous task set before him. Paul gives more details in his second letter to the Corinthians, 2 Corinthians 11:26
