It's pretty much a no-branier, for sane people, that violence, vandalism and "theft" is not part of our 1st Amendment rights of free speech.

Didnt say it was. But when some of you show more outrage over riots than loss of life, something is wrong with you "sane" people.

I don't think anyone here is downplaying the loss of life. But no loss of life justifies a mob of rioters looting, setting fire to businesses or attacking others. These thugs even threw bottles and bricks at a fire truck trying to drive to a fire!
No loss of life justifies that kind of behavior!
This isn't a protest! It's a bunch of lawless people rioting.

We don't know what happened in the van. The guy had a long list of drug offenses. Maybe he didn't want to be sent up the river and fought back. I'll wait for the facts to come out. We don't know anything. At least I haven't read anything, but I haven't been home most of the day today.

Can you do me a favor and think about what you just said. Think really hard. What could a slender scrawny man already in hand cuffs possibly do for six cops to injure him in the manner he did? We still dont even know why he was arrested for crying out loud. Property can be restored. Life cannot.
