Where's The Disgust About Baltimore?

So we often see threads here about how horrible police departments are because someone is killed in the process of being arrested, etc. but total silence on the shameful activity in Baltimore, and the awful leadership coming from its mayor.

Selective outrage.

amen. It seems as though either the police were afraid of the masses OR they were told not to react. What a shame.

Fox news, love em or hate em, just spoke absolute truth. They were talking about how this all stems from the breakdown of the american family. Kids without faith, morals, or strong male role models out rioting in the streets, being violent, destructive, and robbing from their own community.

As bad as it sounds, the moment I read about this man dying in police custody I knew there would be riots and mayhem on the streets. What I didn't expect is the Mayor to issue orders giving them room to "vent" and destroy property. That was a stupid, stupid decision. I hope those businesses list her in their suit against the city.

It makes no sense to me why people want to destroy their own communities when something like this happens. I just can't understand it at all.

I became immune to "outrage" once I realized .....

(1) most everyone who experiences outrage occasionally are selective in their outrage........... (2) it's easier to just shake my head and eat ice cream.........

Riots happen...........

.......these particular "type" of riots get a lot of media attention because the media likes to sensationalize "certain" incidents (I'll leave that alone).

...But the college kids in Kentucky rioted after KU lost in the tournament this year.

When people get angry people get mad and burn things. There's no real sense to make out of it besides life without Jesus makes people stupid.
