The times I've been in servies when God really moved, shouting/yelling to pray someone through was not needed.
I remember one time I preached a message "Lord, open my eyes" God moved so strong in middle of message there was no alter call no closing, I think just about everyone was responding even first time visitor fell out on pew. It was powerful. I think the less anointing there is in pentecostal services the more human effort is wrought to try to make something happen.
