For a long time I could not eat lamb. No matter how nice the eating joint in my mind I would always smell the "billy goat" pen!
Grandma Chambers always fixed the leg of lamb at Christmas... and I pretended to like it very much until I married Kristin! LOL! Then I told her what I thought and she could not eat it either!
Now 20 yrs later, we order rack of lamb at times.
That's the very reason I can't stand to eat goat or drink goat's milk. It took me FOREVER to develop a taste for goat cheese, but I can handle it now if it's good quality. You may as well walk into the pen and take a bite out of a goat! It smells and tastes like, well, goat.

EXACTLY. We do eat goat cheese now too, but it's a developed taste.
But the milk I could never handle. I threw up more than once when my siblings tricked me to drink it. We always had goats that we milked for the babies. It was supposed to be more tolerant. It sure was not for me!

Don't eat pork on a farm that raises hogs, either. Outside. Trust me. Bad idea.
