Hey Ya'll I was just sitting here watching one of my favorite shows 'Barefoot Contessa' and saw this lamb recipe. I really love lamb but don't know of too many ways to cook it. Do any of you have any lamb recipe's?

problem is, that sauce tends to run down from the bottom of the sandwich and down my arm.
Does anyone have any idea how the fat content of that processed lamb/beef combination compares to just beef or lamb?
I don't know what that comparison would come out to (maybe I will take some time and look it up soon) but I do know that whatever it is... goat has a better rating than either.

I've tried octopus (too chewing, didn't like the taste, not cool with the purple), duck (didn't like that either), squid (had calamari, it was palatable), and that's the extent of my journey beyond the world of chicken and beef. I did do some searching for a gyo's recipe, and I did see some that used steak strips. I may give it a try. Here is the recipe if anyone is interested. Maybe if I get this right I might try to use some lamb.
MINUTE STEAK GYROS
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
3/4 tsp. leaf oregano, crumbled
1/2 tsp. ground coriander
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground allspice
2 minute steaks (10 oz.), cut crosswise into 2 x 1/4 inch strips
2 tsp. oil
2 lg. pita breads, cut in half
Combine garlic, oregano, coriander, salt and allspice in small bowl. Pat minute steaks dry on paper towel. Add steaks to spice mixture. Cook steaks in oil skillet over medium heat until medium rare; 2 to 3 minutes. Spoon into pita. Garnish with cucumber. Serve with Yogurt Sauce. YOGURT SAUCE:
1/2 c. low fat plain yogurt
1/4 c. chopped cucumber
1 tbsp. chopped onion
1/2 tsp. chopped fresh mint
1/4 tsp. salt
Combine yogurt, cucumber, onion, mint and salt. Serve over your favorite sandwich. Excellent on gyros.
