President Clinton repented also. And, this thread is a very good example of how he's reaping the effects of his sin. It's destroyed his reputation and the memory of any good he accomplished.

Of course... at least he isn't responsible for the deaths of over 80,000 Iraqis (including women and children) as a result of an unnecessary invasion of choice based on fraudulent intelligence.

Clinton had extra-marital sex. Bush killed thousands in a very questionable war. Think about it.

Yeah, I like biography's and autobiography's.

I know what you're saying about repentance... and I'm not disagreeing. I just don't think it would be a helpful thing for him to see written about him by Holy Ghost filled apostolic people.
It's not like he doesn't know what we preach as sin after all this time.

President Bush did not "kill" anyone, and for me, it wasn't questionable. The Clintons' supported it.

Do you have a sliding scale for sin? According to you, they both sinned.

Think about it.

Good point. Our sermon today was "God doesn't grade on the curve." Sin is sin no matter what it is, little white lie or murder. Thank God for His mercy and grace.

LOL! I understand. On February 20th, 2007 I had surgery to re-attach my left Achilles tendon. Preached for 8 weeks in a wheelchair.....extremely confining for someone who moves around as much as I do when preaching!

A lot of people supported it. Because nobody dared to challenge the Administration after 9/11. I remember Bush talking about invading Iraq and I looked at my wife and asked, "Why is he invading Iraq... we need to go after Osama." Oh well...

Yes, the both sinned. However, I don't think anyone would agree that an extra-marital affair is as terrible as launching a highly questionable war based on highly questionable intelligence wherein tens of thousands of innocent people were killed.

It seems like we give a free pass to the Republicans, and crucify Democrats. Yes, Clinton sinned with women... David was an adulterer and a womanizer too. Men are men, and the power of an office brings a degree of temptation a lot of men can't handle. But I don't think it compares. That's just my opinion bro.

Point is Clinton repented. I highly doubt Bush will come clean with the situation we're in today.

Re: Don't you miss the days of Pres. BC?

OK.
The thread asked if we missed the days of President Clinton, and I responded.

The rest has just been frosting on the cake.
