Yep! I told Rob I wanted to evac.. he laughed and asked where too and when I told him he just giggled! He said well... umm... going wrong way babe ! LOL

Looks like Gus may be weakening a little- I am sure most church services are canceled in the south Louisiana areas. They have started mandatory evacuation of the New Orleans area and contra flow on the interstates.

Well the storm is going more east and expected to hit NO so we are NOT going to evacuate.

Other good news for US is Hannah is NOT following Gustav. It is expected to go east towards NC.

So now we have to prepare to batten down the hatches here.

If the present models hold, the eye should be passing right through Alexandria and Rapides Parish.

We're ready, bring it on.

I'll gladly go a few days without power - just want to see New Orleans and Tulane spared.
