What did Jesus nail to the cross?

Romans 6:6
Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

Handwriting of ordinances?
Col 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

Jesus being full of the Spirit beyond measure could not then overcome that propensity?

If however by original sin you mean everyone has the ability and propensity to commit sin? Yes I believe that. Our record is tainted when we commit Sin. That is why the author made the point to mention "tempted in all points like us, yet without sin.

What is sin?

According to Webster Propensity means the inclination or tendency.
Yes sir.

According to Heb 2:16, and subsequent verses throughout the remainder of the Chapter. In fact, you might get a foundation to these verses beginning in the 1st Chapter when it is stated that he was made a little lower than the angels.
