Praxeas, I am sorry you feel that way. I am not as close to the situation. My friend is much closier to the situation. I know they have a covering and the covering is now doing it JOB! I know you in our organization(UPC) we have know clue what a covering really is.

The covering is now starting to work with them to help them to recover.

I wonder if the organization supports the new work? I know places where they supported startups and raided other organizations to undermine the existing work.

Every pastor needs someone to come in and do a series based on John Bevere's book "Under Cover". There are so many churches where people simply don't understand what it means to live under the cover of the authorities God has placed over them. Then they wonder why THEY have no authority. To have authority you must be under authority.

Jesus is our authority, when you read the Bible, you see that God has placed authority here on earth as well. Jesus is our covering/authority - He is the head of the Church, but as you know we have FIVE Fold ministries that are our earthly covering. They follow the Holy Spirit. etc.

Speaking from recent experience, you are about to go down a very bumpy road. I am only a month removed from a church split. Like most church splits it was about the battle for control. You will find there are some that put more faith in their precious articles of faith than they do God's word. Stick with the man that has less dust on his Bible than the UPCI manual. Always look at the person leading the charge against the man of God. If he has the mentality that the ends justify the means then you know he is not with God

Because authority IS accountability. So many take the first word and drop the 2nd.
