The other day I had a conversation with an 84 year old Romanian immigrant and his 38 year old daughter. Both are Apostolic and have become American citizens.

Um, we are talking a little bit higher than the dog catcher friend.

I do believe that God puts in places of powers those that He chooses. It is a part of His omnipotence. The Word says that Nebuchadnezzar was put there by God. Why not Putin? It is a powerful place. Just my observations.

Now that does not mean that Putin is a man of God, indeed not. But it can mean that Putin is there for a purpose designed by God.

Just recently I read where a magazine named P the most powerful man in the world. You don't think God is in control of that?

I don't agree with the communist stand of Putin but I do respect him, as I have respect for many people who have exercised certain judgments.

Putin is not a Kruschev or even a Gorby. He is smarter than either.

Putin is a powerful manipulator that has a away of making his opposition look like fools.

Not one time was Obama able to make him look bad but he was able to make the obama admin look silly.

In just a few years he took a military that H Clinton mocked and make it quite powerful. He has a level of popularity in his country that is totally unheard of here. Some polls put it in the 80 percentiles. We have not had anything close since R Reagan.

He has stripped away some of the vassal countries that used to rely on the US and drawn them to him, like the Philippines and others.

He has much respect around the world. Combined with the other BRICS he has helped create a huge economy. They represent a large economic force.

He leads a country that spans almost 12 time zones I believe with Incredible natural resources that can put them in a great financial form. When sanctions were announced we saw the country survive and now thrive. We actually helped them to grow. They are the second largest exporter of oil, or maybe even the first now. I need to check.

Anyway, obviously something is working in that quarter. Again, i don't believe that he is righteous but God has his hand in this somewhere.

Isn't is something that in the OT we would see God raise up pagan nations to judge the righteous? Is that what is going on? We will wait and see.

Because the Bible does not say "Putin". It's all theory and conjecture.

Oh for crying out loud! Nonsense! There is not a verse in the Bible that says that God chooses every leader in the world. That's like saying God chooses everyone's mate.

Your analogy is greatly flawed. God's word says that "whosoever" can be saved. It does not say every leader is hand picked by God. He actually let's countries choose their own worthless leaders.
