Yeah, but this was at the end of the article...
"The study also found that although the group that imbibed were better at creative problem solving, they did worse on memorization tasks."
So you have memory loss, but creative ability while drinking beer... interesting...

So that's why people drink too much beer, memory loss. They forget they have been drinking. Answers the question that police officers ask when they pull you over. I have had only 2 beers ociffer, but who's counting?
