Just saying - she's at the mercy of God. I do believe her heart was sincere. I'm sure we've all been "off" on a few things before.

Sherri you are in a ministry, do you ever warn people about anything?

Absolutely! But I wouldn't "warn" them about someone like Ruth Heflin. Take the good and spit out the bad. She did have some good in her.

So in your church family you have people who believe in all kinds of different things? Doctrinal truth is sort of gray, a bit of a non issue, nothing that God really cares that much about? All people really need to do is love Jesus and love others, and give tithes? Am I close?

There was nothing weird that night. Just old time holiness preaching and a powerful move of God. I don't know anything about here beliefs as far as the godhead, but I do know that she preached that night!
There was no gold dust, angel dust, or anything of that sort. Just a lot of women seeking God. I was on the floor and literally could not get up, from the heaviness of the power of God.
I won't judge her.
Experience trumps truth, right?

Re: Ruth Heflin

Really? We are going to judge this women because of a prosperity teaching? I did not pick up just what this gold dust you all are referring to in her message. But I figured it must be a prosperity teaching of some kind.

The point is if she was a oneness preacher preaching the same way she did in the video EB posted, we would not question her message other than to say she was a women preacher, as some don't believe in that. I have been in oneness Pentecostalism my whole life and have heard everything preached from prosperity to being a pauper. Seems the biggest thing wrong with her is that she is Trinitarian.

She died at 60 the same year she was speaking in this video? No wonder she hangs onto the podium the whole time. She must have been already feeling the pain of her cancer even then. If you ask me that is dedication.

My brother, the point isn't that Ruth was a prosperity teacher. I don't think I brought that up in any of my postings. I had a great sister in our church family ( now who has passed away) who knew RH lived and worked at the Heflin's campground. I was told not about prosperity, but about strange teachings which the Heflin Ward group taught. The dear sister who use to be with us came to understand Bible truth, and when she did she understood that a lion share of her life was lost because she was lured off the path.

In 2nd Peter 2:1-2 is explicit we as ministers need to consider these words. I hate seeing people jerked around. Having their lives flipped upside down due to some self aggrandizing so called prophet. I believe you know me enough that if she was Oneness and carrying on the way she did I would still call a spade a spade.

Love you my brother, that is just my side of this subject.

Was that on the flight from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem?
