Ruth Graham In Coma Near Death

Billy Graham has announced that his wife Ruth Graham has lapsed into a coma and will be leaving this life soon.

By all accounts she is an amazing woman. I noticed his press release also mentioned that she and he are going to be buried at the Billy Graham museum.

There was a big controversey over that awhile back because supposedly Ruth wanted them to be buried out in the hills where they lived.

I am sorry to hear that. If you have ever read Franklin Grahams book "Rebel With A Cause" it tells just how intresting this woman was and how she kept the family togethor while her husband traveled.

"Ruth is my soul mate and best friend, and I cannot imagine living a single day without her by my side, I am more in love with her today than when we first met over 65 years ago as students at Wheaton College."

Billy Graham

I read this in the article about this, and found it very touching.

I'm really sorry to hear this. Although our beliefs differ, when the Grahams are gone, the world will miss two very decent and influential people. They have been around as long as I can remember.

She was raised as a southern presbyterian.....I knew I liked her!

While I decry much of what her husband has done to the Christian scene they are part of the few decent "high profile" Christians today.
