Every anti-religion bigot I know is a Democrat. The most intolerant people towards religion or free thought/speech are those who are progressives, liberals and Democrats. They preach tolerance, but never practice it.

Re: Hillary Supporters Should Be Worried
Keep in mind, the Republican Party was rather liberal and progressive for its day when it began. The Democrats were an older party and rather conservative in their outlook. However, as times have changed, the Democratic Party began a shift to liberalism. And the Republicans began to shift to conservatism. Today, a student of history will tell you, the parties have nearly completely switched their ethos.

I know a lot of anti-religion Democrats too. However, I know many Democrats who are very devout Catholics and Christians. They have huge hearts and run entire food pantry networks, soup kitchens, and clothing closets. They believe in what is historically called, "The Social Gospel". The notion that the church has a responsibility to be a voice for social justice in modern society. Sojourners is one such ministry. As is, Red Letter Christians. There is also the prolife DFLA (Democrats for Life of America). Here are some links.....

And you're right. We have no tolerance for hatred and bigotry.

Re: Hillary Supporters Should Be Worried
One man who was very influential in my life is an Episcopal Priest, Rev. David McCoy. He was my uncle-in-law. David was Dean of the Anglican Academy of Columbus. A deeply spiritual Christian man, and liberal Democrat who served as an advocate for the poor, single parent house holds, and gay Episcopals. His wife, Terry McCoy passed away in 2007. She served as the Legislative Director, and eventually President, of the Ohio League of Women's Voters. She was also a board member for the League of Women Voters of the United States from 1994 to 1998. She's the one who introduced me to the Clintons at a fund raiser in 1994.
Both deeply devoted Christians, who were liberal Democrats. Even Hillary is active in her United Methodist tradition. Which, Anthony Mangun can attest to.

I don't know how has more racists. I'm sure racists are a part of both parties.
But I'm a Democrat, part of a union, a citizen of a multicultural city, and while I've seen racial angst over injustice (actual or perceived) among the minorities at times. I've seen more actual racial "hate" among the hillbillies around here how tout their Republicanism.
However, today the modern Democratic Party does more to try to address social injustice.
Perhaps each locality is different.

Re: Hillary Supporters Should Be Worried
I noticed something. No one answered my original questions. We've only degenerated into the bash Hillary deflection tactic. Here's one of my original posts on this thread....

Also, my daughter benefited greatly from SCHIP (which was originally a part of "Hillarycare"). So have nearly 8 million other American children. Most likely, even kids in your family and/or the families you know have been served by the funding this program provided.
And let's not even mention Hillary's push to allow families of wounded veterans to claim FMLA when caring for our wounded vets.
What has Donald Trump done for you and those you love?

Please answer the questions. Thanks.
