Re: Salutations in the new Testament

I am amazed so few understand what oneness really proposes to have to ask these questions. And yet we get all these reasons for saying oneness is wrong. You do not even understand oneness if you think these points prove it wrong.

Folks, please, get educated about an issue before you shoot it down. lol

  2. The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
  6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

I don't know if I've ever really heard any of those things from oneness preachers.
"God rose his son from the dead"
"God we give thanks to you and to our Lord Jesus Christ"?
"God has called us into the fellowship of his son Jesus Christ"?

There you heard me, now stop your nonsense and go away..

Nah. But I've been to plenty of meetings in the past to know.

Yeah...that's not necessarily a good sample

Maybe urs is the poor sample? Maybe mine is the typical experience?

I am with you on this.

The language of most Apostolic preachers is carefully tailored to fit their false theological slant.

There is one or two Apostolic preachers that I can think of who will at least refer to The Father in a way that you clearly know that they know there is a distinction between the Person of the Father and the Person of the Son, but when I queried them, they both made it very clear of their desire to remain faithful to the 21st century Apostolic doctrine they believe and preach.

One of those men is my Dad, another one is an a preacher that I personally think so very, very highly of and that I respect so much.
