The odds of needing a firearm (of weapon of any kind) are sadly increasing greatly. I remember having cops speak to us in Elementary school who told us they never actually had to fire it in 20 years. NOW the chances of a cop having to use his weapon in some way in HALF that time (ten years) is practically a certainty. The chances of me needing a gun in the next decade are many many times greater than they were in the past -and that scares me to death. In fact if you want to know what really frightens me are these stupid air soft and BB gun pistols which look EXACTLY like the real thing. Make the stupid things blaze orange for crying out loud!! (I know I know that air soft have an orange tip but that isn't enough. The bb guns don't even need THAT.)

Do you have a fire extinguisher or two around?
Do you have a first aid kit?
