I don't see Christie and Rubio's comments against what Boehner is doing. They can kiss my vote good-bye. So, it doesn't matter if this is who the GOP offers up to us in 2016. They offered Romney and didn't get him.

“One party proposes 800 billion in tax increases,” wrote Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) on Facebook. “In an effort to counter them and continue to be the “low tax, small government” party, the other party’s leadership proposes….wait for it…800 billion in tax increases. As my good friend Jim DeMint says, if you are speeding toward a cliff at 80mph, putting on the cruise control is not really a viable solution.”
Sen. Jim DeMint (R-S.C.), for his part, also turned to the web to bash Boehner.
“Speaker Boehner’s offer of an $800 billion tax hike will destroy jobs and allow politicians in Washington to spend even more,” he tweeted.

Re: House GOP Leaders Purged Conservatives
I just realized that this is Justin Amash who, on his Facebook page, posts and explains EVERY bill he votes on. He comments on why he did or did not vote on any given bill. No wonder they can't stand him. He's been too honest!
THIS IS A GREAT VIDEO IN THIS LINK! EVERY CONSERVATIVE SHOULD LISTEN TO IT!
Quote:
Justin Amash calls ouster from House budget panel a 'slap in the face'
"I’ve had to read it in the newspapers," Amash told reporters. "So actually, I’ve received not a single call from anybody in leadership, not a single email. I’ve received no messages about it."

are you saying that boehner shouldn't compromise and we go off the fiscal cliff? what does that solve? taxes will go up automatically without a compromise.

Obama has made it clear he will not compromise on anything, including his demand that Congress cede its constitutional powers to him on spending. You lay no blame at his feet?

"Instead of being focused on a phony fiscal cliff, Republicans might focus on how they will approach Obama’s second term." - Newt Gingrich
We should count, on any given news program, how many times they say "fiscal cliff".
Just don't do shots, you'd get blood poisoning and die.
Last go round Obama said he would raise taxes and kept the Bush cuts.

you are not making any sense. i could care less if we go off the fiscal cliff, but taxes are going up regardless of a deal.

obama campaigned on raising taxes and won if romney had won then i can see your point for obama compromising. obama has said he is flexible on how high rates will go so you are lying.

They probably will pass some bill with pork that is needed for the additional votes that are holdouts. It will probably include both federal spending and taxes.
There certainly won't be any federal cutting no matter what deal Congress makes.
That's what makes the fiscal cliff terminology nothing more than an extortion agreement.
They signed a two-year extension on the Bush tax cuts in 2011. They can do that again. I don't know why they don't cut back on spending and keep the tax cuts. Take off some of the entitlements for the rich instead of taxing them.

I'm "lying"? Do you even one coherent thought in your head? You completely ignored what I said about Obama demanding that Congress ceded its powers on spending to him. Di he campaign on that?
