Yes. She has confirmed that I was wrong about joining too soon here. She certainly had cleared up any misgivings that I had afterwards when I had joined.

My reaction too.

Well, I was referring to my postings in the past in other forums, but as it is, it is on God to cause the increase just as it is on God to how long I am here in this forum or even on the internet for that matter.

But thanks anyway. The Lord will provide the patience I need.

Thanks for the welcome, Falla39.

Say? Am I addressing both of you as a couple or one of you from your avatar? Just wondering for future reference. I don't know if you share the registered name as a couple and if so, do you give a clue as to which one we are talking to or do you keep each other apprised of the discussion as one to post as one?

Anyway, thanks again for the welcome.

The topics that I have shared could be seen as divisive, but mostly, they are just ignored because usually, believers do not have an answer for the hard questions where scripture reproves that which believers had never questioned before.

Of course, there were some topics that some to a few will reply, ignoring the scriptural reproofs as if it doesn't apply. I know I cannot convince them as it is on God to cause the increase. If believers do not want to accept what scripture says in the King James Bible as lining up with the rest of scripture, then He helps me to let it go. Jesus is Lord.

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.....24 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, 25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; 26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

So... I am leaning on the Lord Jesus Christ to share the truth in love as it is on Him to lead those that hear to take the matter to the Lord Jesus in prayer for confirmation.

John 15:1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. 2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

May God continue to prune every one of us to bear more fruit till He brings us Home.
Hi Enow,

Hope your stay here will be fruitful as to Gods will. Yea I forgot about that thread at City Data but may as well believe that the Lord has led you here.

Ive looked at your posts about the KJV. It is my favorite Bible. It is more accurate than some in certain points and less accurate than others on certain points. I use the Majority Text as the final word when it comes to if a verse was inspired or not.

As far as print Bibles Im for New King James and the Old King James. I like the NKJ for several reasons one because it shows which type of manuscripts the disputed verses appear in or not. When it says a verse is in MT I accept it. If MT says it not there I accept that.

Im not aware of any other printed versions that are based on the MT. Peace, Michael

I started a thread on the Canon of Scripture in the 'Deep Waters' subforum around here. Perhaps you could post some thoughts there?

BTW, welcome to the forum. I for one would appreciate reading what you have to say.

Just be sure to compare the NKJV with the KJV because there are changes within as testified in that thread about which Bible to reply on in regards to Romans 8:26-26 & 1 Peter 4:19. There are contentions that the NKJV did not solely translate from the MT/TR.

It is an awareness that the Lord would have me share by the "talents" He has given me to share but it is still on Him to be peradventuring in causing the increase so that is why those that hear will take pause and take the matter to the Lord Jesus Christ in prayer for wisdom and discernment.
