I don't know the exact reason but I also know why a lot of people from here don't post there. It is pretty much an 'amen corner' where the manual is maintained.
And there is nothing wrong with that! The owner of a forum is allowed to run it however he or she wants!
But honestly I was just about through with the place anyways.
I really was behaving myself, and planning on leaving anyways since conversation and debate was allowed -as long as it fell within very narrow definitions of holiness and pastoral power. Meaning, all sides had to agree with both, but were allowed to 'debate' over minor interpretations.
Don't take it too hard. We can't all fit into Everyone's definition of what it means to be Apostolic. I didn't even make it for 24hrs and didn't post anything. I guess my "liberal" reputation preceded me!

No I don't feel bad -except for many of the people. I read many of their posts -how their pastors are micromanaging their lives (requiring permission for everything) and the complete LACK of understanding of anything resembling 'grace' and I actually feel some aches for them.

That IS sad! The sadder thing is that they've been taught that they can't even "petition" the despot they call pastor because of the "touch not my anointed" doctrine. That really upsets me.
