I think there is for the borrower. Lenders do not receive any interest. But I'm not interested in receiving interest. I would be doing this solely to help someone help themselves. $25 is not a lot of money for me but I can see where it would be in other parts of the world.

I am one of those suckers that usually can't pass someone begging in the streets without giving them $10 or $20. Yeah, I know that most probably use it to buy alcohol, drugs, or cigarettes but I hope that they don't. I just believe it's the Christian thing to do.

Subsidizing folks sinful and destructive habits is hardly the Christian thing to do.

Welp, this is the second mention I've heard of Paltalk....by internet rules I have to try it now.

One question if you're still up...are there people honestly looking for conversation there, or is it like chatroulette and omegle, hormone driven teenagers looking to pass the time with a woman?

Well, Paltalk is blocked here at work so I have to guess that it's purpose could be along those lines.

Re: Anyone work with Kiva?

I love Kiva! I've done it for a few years now and never had a loan default. I'm a huge believer and advocate of micro finance.
