Here's another interesting thought...
There was a baptism before baptism in Jesus' name too.
John's baptism.
Now... those who were baptized with John's baptism had to be baptised again as I would imagine any who received "the spirit" (if there be any) prior to the glorification of Christ would need to recieve the Holy Spirit as well.

What greek word did they translate to "later"?

I understand John The Baptist was filled with The Holy Ghost from His Mother's womb but this was given by The Lord soverignly and not just anybody could seek to receive it prior to Pentecost.
The same as in the case of Elizabeth,Zacharias.

In the story of the Woman at the well, Jesus speaks of giving the woman living water, which will quench her spiritual thirst.
Did the woman receive the living water that same day?

Does the bible say she received it on the same day ? Personally I think not.However in my opinion I feel like she was there in Acts 8 when Samaria had a great revival.
