Let me see, I've seen them run up walls, jump up and down (rapture practice) that one is used alot in small buildings where there is not alot of room to run or gyrate (dance) then there are the screamers, (that will put the hair on your neck at attention) there are the spinners (no wonder they drop on the ground and act like they are slain in the spirit, ever turn circles when you were a kid and got dizy) then the shakers they stand and shake, the epileptics at least that is what it looks like. These are all called dancing in the spirit. If it has been done in what is called worship in the spirit I have probebly seen it.

The point is it is not bible, it is a stretch of scripture to get it bible, putting words into verses that are not there. And the alter call cannot ever be found even by example in the word.

this is true but what we call dancing is not what was done by David IMHO In the last few years I have seen individual get up infront and truly dance before God in true worship that bless the whole congregation, even dance troupes that moved the whole church to tears and worship that was choragraphed in these the move of God was deeper and people went home with deeper strenght that got them through the week as apposed "getting a blessing" as we would say in many Apostolic moves.

VERY WELL SAID!!!! This is th exact reason why I DO NOT go to the front and pray - I stay at my seat.

I had one shaking my arms so hard that my bra began to slide off my shoulders as I have very slender shoulders. I stopped praying asked her to stop praying with me and told her why - talked about shocked look - but hey she got the message and she never bothered me again.

Re: Altar Workers Please Read

The church has been programmed that we have to do things a certain way to have a "move". I don't think it's required to lay hands on every seeker at the alter. Just let them pray.

I remember one time I was witnessing to a guy i grew up, we were doing doing bible studies and such. He was very uneasy about going to church but I didn't pressure him just kept getting together, eventually he came with everything being destroyed in one night. He came to alter even while be uneasy about it. I was just going to pray next to him and let him just pray, but of course, someone had to go laying hands and praying with him. Some brother got up next to him asking "do you know the name of the father, son and Holy Ghost" never camee back.

Not every situation or person is the same.

Man TS, I can't figure out whether to laugh, or cry.
I think I'll cry.
Some guy comes to get help with their lifes situations, and instead they get "hey do u know what the name of the father is?"

Not surprising tho.
MAtter of fact nothing shocks ne anymore in "Pentecost".

Usually the word NAME is said with some force as to point out the singular nature of it.
