In my opinion, that's because God is not concerned about the length of a person's hair. That's just something that gets preachers fired up and gives them something to fight over.

Sounds like you've been reading L.R. Shelton. There was another Baptist preacher that also wrote a book by that same title. He was quite famous but I can't think of his name at this moment. I have that book somewhere. He also wrote on the Masons too.

The person I was referencing was John R. Rice (December 11, 1895 - December 29, 1980)
