scotty, my sources is straight from the debates on CSPAN. I heard what the democrats say and the people that this Healthcare Reform Bill has helped. I have not heard of one from the republicans that it has hurt. The republicans just say things like "job killing bill", which they do not have any proof of that. The newspaper in my area stated that the poll rates shows more are agreeing with "Obamacare" just about 50/50. The polls are showing that President Obama approval rates also going up. The economy is improving according to the polls. ..... scotty, about your medication, you might need to change where you are getting it. My mother got a better price at the Kroger Pharmacy than the Wal-Mart pharmacy, just check around, and maybe you need to change your drug provider insurance.
And you totally believe everything you hear on the news?

Well, first off, the Dems will pull anyone on the floor of the House and say whatever they want. But I doubt they would let someone like me who is having problems say a word.
Second. Your local newspapers ? Seriously ? Lets take a look outside your local box.
CNN poll respondents favoring repeal by a tally of 50 to 42 percent, Quinipiac respondents favoring repeal by a tally of 48 to 43 percent (and 54 to 37 percent among independents), and Gallop poll respondents favoring repeal by a tally of 46 to 40 percent. The one poll that does screen for likely voters,Rasmussen shows respondents favoring repeal by a tally of 55 to 40 percent. That’s 4-for-4 (a good day at the plate), and an average tally of 50 to 41 percent in favor of repeal.
A plurality of registered voters (49 to 44 percent) supports Republican plans to repeal and replace the health care reform bill, including a majority of Independents (54 to 36 percent support).
A CBS News poll shows that Obamacare is now 10 percentage points less popular than it was on the day of its passage. On March 22, Americans opposed Obamacare by 11 points (48 to 37 percent). Now they oppose it by 21 points (53 to 32 percent)
About my medication issues, you dont seem to get the point. My cost were low, then Obamacare passed and my prices went up. Why should I have to shop around now? And no, it will make no difference, prices are up everywhere. I can't change insurance providers because mine is provided by my company, my only other option would be to buy it on my own which is even more expensive.
As I have said before, it looks nice to those of you who are sheltered from the reality of whats happening to those of us it effects.

Can someone please tell me why it’s a good idea for “young” people to be able to stay on their parents insurance until they are 26? I could see if the parents are supporting the “young” 26 year old ADULT while he/she is still working on their masters or doctorate. But give me a break. I graduated high school at 17 and three weeks later I was in boot camp. I was “on my own” and my parents didn’t pay a dime for my health insurance, my car insurance or my car loans or student loans. I learned to work hard and take care of my own expenses in life. It’s called responsibility. It took years of hard work and honing of skills for me to get a job in the US government. Today I have the coveted Federal Blue Cross Blue Shield Health Insurance. When the local Blue Cross Rep came to the office this year to explain the changes to our plan, and why we had such a large rate increase, he cited the added burden Obamacare was making to the program by forcing the insurance company to add so many 24-26 year olds into the plan. Twenty minutes later he revealed that even though he works for Blue Cross, he dumped his own health insurance so he could becoming a rider on his retired father’s Federal Blue Cross coverage until he turns 26. Now I’ve got big issues with that! Here is a successful young man, working for Blue Cross who HAD employer subsidized coverage, yet he drops that coverage to get a free ride on daddy’s insurance? His out of pocket goes down, mine goes up. It seems that's the way it always works when the Dem’s get involved in the redistribution of my “Wealth.”
