Hooray for "Obamacare"
This wonderful Healthcare Reform Bill, that was signed into law last March, will be credited to the great President Obama. Today the republicans will try to repeal this Healthcare Bill that has already helped many Americans or should I say MILLIONS of Americans.
If they get their way, the Republican effort will:
........-- Keep it legal for insurance companies to discriminate against people with a pre-existing medical condition -- affecting as many as half of all Americans under 65;
........-- Re-open the "donut hole" in prescription drug coverage that made prescriptions unaffordable for millions of seniors;
........-- Legalize the practice of insurance companies dropping people's coverage when they get sick -- just because they made a mistake on a form;
........-- Prevent young adults under 26 from staying on their parents' insurance; and
........-- Add $230 billion to the deficit over the next 10 years.
The implications of the Republicans' anti-reform agenda are real for millions of people. This debate is a choice between providing quality, affordable health care -- and the desires of an abusive insurance industry.
That is the message the republicans are giving the Americans today. The vote will be today around 5:30 on CSPAN, we can watch who votes yes to help the big insurance companies, so they won't have to pay the doctor bills and hospital bills for the people that had their insurance policies. The republicans are for the insurance companies and not the American people.
Republicans say they are doing the will of the people, that is not true, the polls today proves that more Americans now approves of "Obamacare". The reason why that more people are becoming aware of how it is helping Americans, because many millions have already been able to see the advantages, and have seen the truth.

Re: Hooray for "Obamacare"
Obama care is an unconstitutional way to rip off Americans.

Re: Hooray for "Obamacare"
Helped "MILLIONS" ? Got sources for that quote ?
Polls show more Americans approve of Obamacare. Got a source for that quote ?
Help many it will, hurt many more it will also.
Personally , its killing me. My prescription coverage has become useless. My wifes inhaler is $65, we have always paid $15 for it. We got a refill two days ago, insurance paid $4, we paid $61. My daughters antibiotics for her ear infection were $59, we paid $48.
As I have said on many of your threads pertaining to this subject before, my insurance went up, my prescription cost went up, my over the counter medication went up.
You can copy/paste all the dem talking points you want, but the truth is real people are suffering from this bill.

Re: Hooray for "Obamacare"
As stated before, I believe SS is an internet construct.
So I don't get too riled up with anything that he/she posts.
Hey SS - you have never answered my question that I have asked you multiple times in multiple threads.
What's up, can't handle a discussion?

scotty, my sources is straight from the debates on CSPAN. I heard what the democrats say and the people that this Healthcare Reform Bill has helped. I have not heard of one from the republicans that it has hurt. The republicans just say things like "job killing bill", which they do not have any proof of that. The newspaper in my area stated that the poll rates shows more are agreeing with "Obamacare" just about 50/50. The polls are showing that President Obama approval rates also going up. The economy is improving according to the polls. ..... scotty, about your medication, you might need to change where you are getting it. My mother got a better price at the Kroger Pharmacy than the Wal-Mart pharmacy, just check around, and maybe you need to change your drug provider insurance.

If my coverage for a family at my business is 946 dollars a month, Can you give me an accurate number for the cost of premium if it is reduced by 3,000%?
Just give me the actual number.
