The homosexual agenda, which the media has promoted for the last 20 years, has desensitized our society toward acceptance of a lifestyle that leads to death.

Some people have scoffed at the idea of a homosexual agenda but this marketing plan was revealed in 1987 with the publishing of "After the Ball: How America will conquer its fear and hatred of Gays in the 90's". Here is an excerpt from that book, p. 47:

"The first order of business is desensitization of the American public concerning gays and gay rights...You can forget about trying to persuade the masses that homosexuality is a good thing. But if you can get them to think that it is just another thing with a shrug of their shoulder, then your battle for legal and social rights is virtually won."

Of course, it just wasn't the media who joined this agenda, but many so-called Bible scholars too. There have been many books written where these scholars have twisted the scriptures to cause confusion among many Christians to accept homosexuality.

"Top scholars----such as Yale history professor....and New Testament professors....of Berkeley and...of Union Theological seminary----show that those who perceive Bible passages as condemning homosexuality are being misled by faulty translation and poor interpretation." (Helminiak, 1994).

[I]Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight! Isaiah 5:20-21[I]

We are battling a strong and deceptive enemy and we must stand in the trenches, praying and fasting, to fight this spirit of our age. We must have the power of the Holy Ghost active in our lives to rescue those souls from this lie.

It has become very easy for many to ridicule and not reach out, because of fear of association and prejudices. I know that God is opening the eyes of many to see that we cannot remain in our comfort zone with this issue.

God spoke to my heart that there will be a great revival among the homosexual community in these last days. Many of those that were raised in this truth will flood our churches again with repented hearts. In turn, they will be the examples of Grace that will become the greatest outreach to gays and lesbians and Satan's biggest fear.

Many here know my history and that I am an example of Grace for those trapped in the deception of homosexuality.

Behold, I, even, I will both search my sheep, and seek them out...I will feed my flock, and I will cause them to lie down, saith the Lord GOD...I will seek that which was lost, and bring again that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick. Ezekiel 34

There were many good points illustrated on this video. One thing that was mentioned was the "self-fulfilling" prophesy that many homosexuals experienced. At an early age, if someone continued to tell a child they were clumsy or slow eventually that child began to believe what they were told.

The same could be said when a child was told they were a f*ggot or queer over a period of time they fulfilled that prophesy in their lives. Every parent should be very careful to not promote or condone their children taunting another child by calling them queer. The consequences are too dire to allow that behavior in children.

One thing I remembered was what Brad, former UPCI music minister who posted here, wrote he was taunted and called names as a young boy. Clearly, that would be an example of "self-fulfilling" prophesy.

There were many sobering statistics given that sadly many of the young gays aren't being told. The estimate of 30% of 20 year old male homosexuals dying of AIDS by the time they reach 30 was very sobering.

One quote that really stood out was, "Same sex attraction is driven by pain". That fact has played out time and time again and we saints need to recognize and minister to all those in pain.

Thank you for sharing the link.
Dearest Chosen,

After having met you...I saw the compassion and sensitivity in your eyes. What you have said is true and does happen. This statement is especially true and clear:"Same sex attraction is driven by pain". I see this when I counsel others.

Thank-you for these wise and true words.

Blessings, Rhoni

In the portion I saw there were some thoughts brought out that I had wondered about before.

Chief among them being how we often hear... "I knew I had a sexual attraction to members of my own sex at the age of 4". I have often thought... how many kids have ANY realization of their sexuality at 4. How twisted is that statement whether it is speaking of homosexuals or heterosexuals.

I think these are mostly cases of combined memory. They remember instances from their childhood and then (sub-consciously) imprint upon those memories their current adult feelings and create a past realization that was not there.

If there WAS someone with such a realization of their sexuality at such a young age then I would think there is a good chance that this was due to some type of abusive situation.

I will try to finish it this weekend but we have company coming so I'm not sure when I will finish it.
What they're doing is equating their sense of being "different" from other boys with being homosexual.
